Welcome to September’s Bake Mail Club and this month we are going on an adventure to Pumpkin Grove!
You were supposed to visit your friend and their cosy small town, but unfortunately you fell ill and could no longer make it. But your friend decided to bring Pumpkin Grove to you, and sent you a care package filled with treats!
Along with your 6 bakes you will receive a postcard from your friend, a customised tourist map of Pumpkin Grove to explain where all your bakes came from, and an exclusive Pumpkin Grove sticker!
Carmelita- an oaty base topped with homemade caramel, milk and dark chocolate chips, and topped with more of that oaty biscuit mixture
Cinnamon Roll Cookie- cookie swirled with cinnamon roll filling and topped with a drizzle of icing
Pecan Pie Blondie- a buttery pastry base, rich blondie, topped with a caramel layer with toasted pecans
Hazelnut Praline Brownie- my classic brownie with a layer of homemade hazelnut praline in the middle, topped with toasted hazelnut pieces
Apple Flapjack- classic flapjack with toasted seeds and dried apple pieces
Pumpkin Spiced Latte Cake- moist pumpkin sponge, packed with autumnal spices, and topped with a spiced coffee glaze
All my bakes are made in my home kitchen, and despite thorough cleaning and separate storage, I unfortunately cannot guarantee that there won’t be any cross contamination. Therefore all my bakes may contain traces of NUTS, SESEAME, SULPHITES
All my bakes are suitable for vegetarians and are halal

Pumpkin Spiced Latte Cake
Sugar, plain flour (wheat flour, GLUTEN), pumpkin puree, butter (MILK), buttermilk (pasteurised skimmed milk (MILK), lactose cultures), EGG, pumpkin pie spice (cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves), baking powder (Raising Agents: Acid Sodium Pyrophosphate, Sodium Bicarbonate, Cornflour), sodium bicarbonate, vanilla powder, salt, coffee glaze (icing sugar (icing sugar, anti-caking agent: tricalcium phosphate), decaffeinated coffee, vanilla powder, pumpkin pie spice (cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves)). Freshness & Shelf Life
Your box is baked fresh and shipped with Royal Mail Tracked 24, once received, your bakes are best enjoyed within 5 days. All items arrive individually heat sealed in food grade cellulose bags which help to maintain freshness. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, no need to refrigerate! I recommend keeping them sealed in their bags until you are ready to enjoy them! If you’d like to keep them a little longer, individual bakes can be stored in an airtight container for up to 5 days once opened (please see the back of each of the items for individual shelf lives). If you don’t want to eat them all in one go, your treats can be frozen. I recommend freezing them separately in an airtight container, as soon as you receive them, to preserve their highest quality. Defrost at room temperature until fully thawed.
There are storage instructions on the back of each of the individual bake. Store in a cool, dark place in an airtight container. If your bakes are delivered during an extreme heatwave, and have arrived slightly melted, don’t worry! They are still entirely edible, but due to the high quantities of chocolate in these bakes I cannot guarantee they won’t melt slightly in transit. Just pop them in the fridge to let the chocolate resolidify for around 1 hour. If you have received your bakes and they are entirely melted/squished in transit, please don’t hesitate to contact me !
